Distance Learning

Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic School will be closed on March 16th through March 27th.   At this time, our staff has prepared learning activities for our students for eight days.

We will return to school on Monday, March 30 UNLESS we have been told of a longer closure by the Archdiocese or the state of MN.

The following is necessary for your children to be able to participate in distance learning:

  1. Books, packets, instructions and teacher’s virtual office hours will be available for pick-up in Roedel Hall between noon and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th. If you are unable to make this pick-up time, please contact the school office on Wednesday, March 18th to work out another time to pick up supplies.
  2. Teacher office hours, as mentioned in #1:  Teachers will remain engaged with students throughout the school closure through email, Facebook and other classroom management applications. PLEASE MAKE SURE WE HAVE YOUR MOST UP TO DATE CONTACTS!  Each teacher will notify parents of his/her method of contact.
  3. Should the closure extend beyond 8 days (after March 30th), we will communicate our plan for distributing the next round of at home learning activities.

These are extraordinary times!  It is a great privilege to partner with you in the education of your sons and daughters.  We will miss your children while they are home.  Please, let’s keep one another, and the world, in prayer during this time.
